Everything you need to know to sell successfully on Souq'd.

Getting started

Selling on Souq'd is free. No listing fees, no commission — you keep 100% of your asking price. The buyer pays a small protection fee on top.

To list your first item, tap Sell in the navigation, take a photo of your item, and our AI will fill in the details for you. Review the suggested title, description, and price, then publish. It takes less than 60 seconds.

Taking great photos

Use natural daylight. Avoid harsh shadows and flash.

Use a clean, uncluttered background — a white wall or plain surface works best.

Show the item from multiple angles. Include close-ups of labels, tags, and any wear.

For clothing, lay it flat or hang it up. For electronics, show the screen powered on.

Upload up to 8 photos. The first one is your cover image — make it count.

Setting the right price

Our AI suggests a price based on similar items sold in the UAE. You can accept the suggestion or set your own price. A few tips:

  • Check what similar items are listed for on Souq'd and Dubizzle
  • Second-hand items typically sell for 30–60% of the original retail price
  • Items with tags or in "like new" condition command higher prices
  • Be realistic — overpriced items sit unsold. Fairly priced items sell within days
  • Buyers can make offers, so leave a small margin if you're open to negotiation

What happens after a sale

Buyer pays

You'll receive a notification. Funds are held safely in escrow.

Prepare your item

Pack it securely. A shipping label is generated automatically.

Aramex collects

A courier comes to your door. No need to drop off anywhere.

Get paid

48 hours after the buyer confirms delivery, your money is released to your account.

  • Respond to messages quickly — buyers move on fast
  • Be honest about condition. Surprises lead to disputes
  • Ship within 48 hours of a sale to build your "Fast Shipper" badge
  • List multiple items to appear as an active seller
  • Share your listings on WhatsApp and social media
  • Keep your profile complete — photo, bio, and verified phone number build trust

Seller rules

  • All photos must be of the actual item you're selling — no stock images
  • Describe all defects, damage, and wear honestly
  • Counterfeit or fake items are strictly prohibited and result in permanent bans
  • Don't include personal contact details in listings to transact off-platform
  • Ship within 48 hours of a sale
  • Use the provided Aramex shipping labels
