1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Souq'd ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United Arab Emirates to use Souq'd. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date.

4. Listing and Selling

  • Sellers must accurately describe items and provide truthful photos
  • Counterfeit, stolen, illegal, or prohibited items may not be listed
  • Prices must be listed in AED and include the actual value of the item
  • Luxury items (AED 2,000+) are subject to moderation review before going live
  • Seller tiers determine maximum listing prices based on your selling history
  • A 5% platform commission is deducted from the seller payout on each sale

5. Buying and Payments

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • A buyer protection fee of AED 5 is applied to every purchase
  • Payment is held in escrow until the item is delivered and the order is completed
  • Shipping fees vary by parcel size and are displayed at checkout

6. Shipping

All items are shipped via Aramex. Souq'd arranges collection from the seller and delivery to the buyer. Meetups and self-collection are not permitted. Sellers must ensure items are properly packaged and ready for collection.

7. Disputes and Refunds

If an item is not as described, the buyer may raise a dispute. Souq'd will review the dispute and may issue a full refund to the buyer or release payment to the seller. Decisions are made at Souq'd's sole discretion based on available evidence.

8. Prohibited Conduct

  • Attempting to transact outside the Platform to avoid fees
  • Creating multiple accounts or impersonating others
  • Harassing other users through messages
  • Manipulating reviews, ratings, or search results
  • Using the Platform for money laundering or fraud

9. Limitation of Liability

Souq'd is a marketplace platform that facilitates transactions between buyers and sellers. We are not a party to the transaction itself and do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed. Our liability is limited to the buyer protection fee paid.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dubai, UAE.
